Job Summary
Perform test and evaluation of fixed and mobile communications equipment, including unit and system level testing for RF and baseband systems. Develop test procedures and plans, conduct demonstrations for line and supervisory personnel, and provide detailed written test reports. Analyze equipment strengths and weaknesses to recommend improvements, while executing reverse engineering and repair tasks. This role requires active TS/SCI clearance and Cl Polygraph, with a minimum of five years in electrical engineering. Experience with UHF, HF, and ELF frequency spectrums and encrypted communications systems is essential, alongside a background in US military service or government contracting for C4I/C5ISRT missions. Candidates must possess strong technical writing and oral communication skills for formal presentations. Extensive on-the-job training is provided, with the ideal candidate embracing the knowledge transfer process in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented office environment that may involve non-traditional hours.
Required Qualifications
- C4l and/or C5ISRT experience
- Active in-scope TS/SCI with Cl Polygraph
- 5 years of experience in electrical engineering
- Technical writing experience
- Strong oral communication skills, including conducting formal presentations
- Experience with UHF, HF, and ELF frequency spectrums and encrypted communications systems
- Service in US military or as a contractor/government employee supporting C4I/C5ISRT missions
- Must be able to embrace the knowledge transfer process
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in systems or electrical engineering
- Completion of US Military signal school for satellite communications or civilian equivalent
- 10 years of experience in electrical engineering
