Job Summary
Senior Test Engineer will lead test strategy and execution for complex software solutions across functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing. Responsibilities include analyzing user requirements and product architecture to derive testing requirements, designing and executing automated and manual tests, developing detailed test plans and scripts, and collaborating with Agile teams (scrum master, product owner) to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. The role requires guiding testing best practices, providing technical leadership to other testers, and using test/defect management tools and scripting languages to support high-quality delivery. Technical focus includes test design across functional/non-functional areas, automation frameworks, scripting (Python or C# .NET), and familiarity with databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server); experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) and defect-tracking systems; ability to communicate effectively in a business environment. Remote opportunities are available in Brazil and Colombia.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
- 3+ years’ experience in software testing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on software testing/development experience on Linux and Windows OS
- Understanding of testing methodologies and principles
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Language - Python or C# .NET
- Experience with automation tools such as UFT, Coded UI or other test framework
- Experience with CI/CD Tools such as Jenkins
- Experience using Defect tracking tools
