Job Summary
Provide advice and guidance on adopting methods, tools, and adherence to policies and standards. Tailor processes in line with agreed standards while evaluating methods and tools. Design, specify, and execute test cases and scenarios to verify systems meet acceptance criteria. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage and analyze test results, issues, and risks. Develop acceptance criteria for functional and non-functional requirements, and configure system components for testing. Define complex integration builds, ensure test environments are correctly set up, and report on integration test results. Identify system integration components for configuration management and recommend process improvements. Apply tools to track configuration items and verify changes to protect assets. Perform audits to check information accuracy and ensure user compliance with identification standards. Requires a Bachelor's degree, two years of testing experience, ISTQB certification, and a valid NATO Secret clearance. Based in The Hague with some travel to NATO sites.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years recent experience in planning and execution of test, verification and validation activities in large complex projects
- At least 2 years recent experience with functional, non-functional and interoperability testing of systems and products
- Proven experience with managing external stakeholders and co-workers during the execution of large complex projects
- Ability to understand and reason about hardware and software systems architectures typically found in system design documents
- Ability to understand technical concepts such as DNS, NTP, Email, Databases, Application architectures and inter-application communication protocols
- Ability to communicate with clarity, coherence, conciseness and engagement, both orally and in writing
- Certification in the area of test, verification and validation such as ISTQB or a similar certification at the foundation level
- A minimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline
- 2 years post-related experience
- Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance
- Some travel to other NATO sites
