Job Summary
Electrical Test Engineer role in Solon, OH focused on leading design/development, executing verification tests, and ensuring system quality and timely delivery. Responsibilities include collaborating across teams, addressing field and supply chain issues, and documenting processes. Ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, 2+ years as a Test Engineer (or 5+ years in related electronics roles), and strong skills in C#, RF electronics, DFMA/DFT, schematic capture, circuit design, hardware/test fixture design, TCP/IP, and data analysis. Travel up to 25% and proficient in SQL and MS Office. Located in Solon, OH; on-site role with domestic travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering Technology, or related field
- At least two years of experience as a Test Engineer, or five years in related role such as Electronics Engineer
- Proficiency in C#, RF electronics design, and manufacturing down to the component level
- Strong understanding of DFMA/DFT principles, schematic capture, and circuit design
- Experience with hardware or test fixture design, microprocessor application development, and familiarity with TCP/IP and other communication/network protocols
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to document and convey complex issues clearly
- SQL experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software
