Job Summary
Design repeatable Signal Integrity experiments to evaluate connector and component performance, developing metrics that distinguish good parts from failing ones. Perform hands-on measurements and rapid experiments to prove or disprove technical hypotheses, analyzing degradation using SI simulations, lab measurements, and multi-domain data sources. Correlate these findings with the SI team to root cause performance loss and communicate results clearly. Build and maintain team-wide tools for data intake, automated reviews, and visualization while turning manual processes into reusable scripts and dashboards. Improve analysis workflows and documentation to enable faster cross-part and cross-site comparisons. This role supports Amphenol High Speed Products Group's leadership in high-speed interconnects for Telecom and Datacom markets.
Required Qualifications
- Signal integrity, high-speed interconnect, RF/microwave, or related electrical measurement experience
- Comfort with VNAs, oscilloscopes, TDRs, and practical lab experiment setup
- Programming experience in Python, MATLAB, or similar tools for analysis and review automation
- Ability to turn messy experimental data into clear conclusions and actionable engineering insight
