Job Summary
Senior Test Engineer to lead test and evaluation of DoD aerospace/ground systems, integrating hardware and components, developing and executing large-scale test plans and strategies (TES, TEMP, SITP, EVP, RVF, VCRM), and coordinating with government clients and contractors to deliver mission-focused engineering solutions. Responsibilities include testing, analysis, verification and validation, identifying urgent mitigation needs, and applying Model-Based Systems Engineering tools. Requires 6+ years of DoD/system integration experience, IEEE standards familiarity, and a Secret clearance. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics; Master’s degree preferred. Remote/Hybrid/Onsite work model described in Booz Allen policy; compensation range $86,800 - $198,000 annually; security/integration responsibilities and biometric verification processes noted.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience leading test and evaluation, or system integration on DoD aerospace systems or ground systems
- 6+ years of experience in a collaborative team environment, developing test strategies, plans, reports, and briefings
- Experience supporting overall engineering integration of systems engineering and integration efforts for the DoD, government agencies, or commercial programs
- Knowledge of systems engineering standards, including IEEE 15288.1 and IEEE 15288.2
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics
- Secret clearance
