Job Summary
Operate multiple electron beam test benches, execute daily test procedures, and analyze results using Python and internal tools. Prepare, modify, and reconfigure test benches for new scenarios while assembling precision mechanical, electrical, and vacuum components. Troubleshoot equipment, support software validation, and perform preventive maintenance to manage spare parts. Develop and improve standard operating procedures and technical documentation to ensure continuous improvement. This role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, or Physics engineering and experience with laboratory equipment. Located in Austria, the position offers an annual gross salary starting at 45,000 € plus bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or a comparable technical discipline (or equivalent hands-on experience)
- Experience operating and maintaining laboratory equipment or technical test systems
- Experience executing, evaluating and documenting technical tests in a structured environment
- Basic Python skills for data analysis
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to precision, accuracy and the highest quality standards
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills with a structured, detail-oriented working style
- Excellent organizational skills and a continuous improvement mindset
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of high-vacuum systems, electron beam technology or test automation is an advantage
