Job Summary
Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts for Salesforce applications within the Lead to Order Process domain. Maintain and create new test automation scripts while identifying, documenting, and tracking defects to ensure timely resolution with developers. Validate deployments across sandbox, UAT, and production environments, providing clear QA metrics and reports to stakeholders. Collaborate closely with developers, admins, and business stakeholders to align QA processes with project goals and recommend process improvements. Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies to enhance quality and efficiency in Valmet's global pulp, paper, and energy technology solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform, including configuration and customization
- Experience with Sales, Service and Experience Cloud testing projects
- Experience with QA methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking tools (e.g. Jira)
- Detail-Oriented: Maintains accuracy and precision in testing and documentation
- Approaches problems methodically
- Takes initiative to improve processes and prevent defects
- Works well with cross-functional teams and promotes a culture of quality
- Understands the impact of quality on user experience
- Keeps up with Salesforce updates and QA automation trends
- Fluent spoken and written English language
- Good communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g. Selenium, Copado Robotic Testing)
- Ability to design effective test plans for complex business processes
- 3-5 years in QA roles, with at least 2 years focused on Salesforce projects
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Western business practices and work culture will be an added advantage
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator)
- Testing methodology certifications (e.g. ISTQB, CSTE, CSQA)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
