Job Summary
Execute end-to-end testing across the electronic trading lifecycle, validating workflows from order creation through execution and downstream processing. Analyze business requirements to translate them into test scenarios, then perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing while verifying connectivity between trading platforms and external venues. Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure solution quality, identify and track defects, and contribute to test strategy design. Develop and maintain automated testing solutions to improve coverage and reliability within a globally distributed team. Requires 3-5 years of QA experience, strong scripting skills in Python or Perl, and familiarity with UNIX/Linux environments and CI/CD platforms.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and software testing
- Hands-on experience with end-to-end testing of complex distributed systems
- Strong scripting/programming skills in Python, Perl, or similar languages
- Experience working in UNIX/Linux environments
- Knowledge of source control systems, defect management tools, and CI/CD platforms
- Ability to develop maintainable, scalable, and data-driven test automation frameworks
- Understanding of electronic trading systems and trading workflows
- Familiarity with trade lifecycle concepts, market connectivity, order routing, and execution processes
