Job Summary
Develop and execute test strategies for electronic and electro-optical products throughout the product lifecycle, creating plans covering design validation, characterization, and qualification. Build automated test applications using C# and .NET, enhancing frameworks and integrating software with laboratory equipment via protocols like SCPI, USB, and TCP/IP. Perform hands-on testing in laboratory, prototype, and manufacturing environments while troubleshooting interactions between hardware, software, and instrumentation. Collect and analyze test data to evaluate performance, prepare validation reports, and support New Product Introduction activities. Transition test solutions into production by developing work instructions and training manufacturing personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- ABET-accredited engineering programs
- 5+ years of experience in electronics test engineering, hardware validation, automated test equipment, or a closely related discipline
- Strong professional experience developing test automation software using C#/.NET
- Experience working with software development lifecycle processes and version control systems
- Hands-on experience communicating with hardware and test instruments using protocols such as SCPI, USB, TCP/IP, and serial communication

- Must be comfortable entering a cleanroom and following required gowning and cleanliness procedures
