Job Summary
Install, maintain, test, and troubleshoot protection and control relaying systems and associated devices in power substations. Perform calibration and testing of protection and control relays, including microprocessor relays, PLCs, sensors, and motors. Assist in developing and updating protection documentation while reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Support project leads with field activities and participate in process hazard analyses and safety reviews. Follow safety procedures and quality standards during all field and testing activities. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred) and familiarity with PLCs and HMIs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0–3 years of experience in engineering, testing, or a related technical role
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
- Working knowledge of PLCs and HMIs
- Understanding of AC and DC electrical systems
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work in field environments such as substations

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred)
