Job Summary
Design, build, and implement test methodologies for upper limb prosthetics development projects and existing products. Translate technical design requirements into testing criteria, independently design and qualify test fixtures, and perform systematic root cause analysis on test failures. Liaise with Technology and Project Managers to deliver departmental objectives, manage equipment calibration, and document structured testing results for engineering guidance. Maintain compliance with Medical Device Regulations and manage workload priorities across multiple concurrent projects.
Required Qualifications
- HNC, HND, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering
- At least 4 years of experience as a Mechanical test engineer or a similar position
- Expertise with both Mechanical and Electrical testing
- Demonstrable capability in Computer Aided Design
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
- Capability to provide mechanical or electrical specifications to outside suppliers
- Is comfortable in working with hand tools
- High quality technical communication skills, both written and verbal and in both formal and informal settings

- Preferred skills include experience with SolidWorks
