Job Summary
Lead planning, execution, and validation of ARCI SONAR systems for in-service and new-construction submarine platforms; bridge design and deployment to ensure mission-critical software and hardware meet Navy standards. Conduct functional tests, document and analyze test cases, provide feedback and recommendations for product or design changes; ensure testing procedures comply with industry standards; coordinate with vendors to modify or develop testing for components; may support shift work and travel; on-site testing in a Lockheed Martin facility in Manassas, VA; active Secret clearance required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (or equivalent experience) with 5+ years relevant engineering/testing experience
- Active Secret US Government Clearance; US Citizenship required
- Strong written and oral skills; proficiency with MS Teams and collaboration tools
- Ability to investigate, troubleshoot and design solutions to problems in operational software and hardware
- Ability to travel and work on-site in an office environment
- Ability to follow OSHA and Navy safety requirements including PPE
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Engineering; experience with ARCI SONAR systems, SONAR software, MATLAB, Linux; familiarity with Navy safety requirements and OSHA standards
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, MATLAB, and Linux
