Job Summary
SAIC seeks a mid-level Digital Engineer (Test Engineer) with MBSE expertise for DoD space-based systems. Responsibilities include applying MBSE techniques, supporting requirements allocation, integrating models, and producing model-based products. Requires a Bachelor's in engineering/mathematics and substantial systems engineering experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics or equivalent technical discipline
- Active Secret Clearance
- Experience working across space, ground, and user segment organizations to coordinate and identify system requirements and key performance parameters
- Experience with system architecture development
- Strong experience using Cameo and knowledge of SysML 1.5
- Seven (7) years of systems integration and systems engineering related or equivalent experience if Master's degree is held
- Nine (9) years of systems integration and systems engineering related or equivalent experience if Bachelor's degree is held
Desired Qualifications
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Experience working in an Agile team/framework
- Demonstrated experience working with Space Force/DoD customers in an acquisition environment, with space and/or ground systems
- Knowledge of space operations and orbital dynamics
- Knowledge of Matlab and/or Python, and STK
