Job Summary
Operate and maintain ICT/FCT testing equipment, including Burn-In systems, while creating detailed functional, performance, and reliability test scenarios based on product specifications. Diagnose and resolve product testing issues by analyzing results to identify defects, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions. Troubleshoot and repair test instruments, conduct installation and debugging for new product introductions, and optimize test processes to improve efficiency and reduce defects. Document procedures, results, and defect analysis in structured reports, prepare quotations for equipment upgrades, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers on test programming and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
- 4-5 years of experience as an Electronic Test Engineer or in a similar role within electronics manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of electronic circuit design, test methodologies, and troubleshooting techniques
- Familiar with different types of testing and programming equipment
- Strong cross-functional communication skills, both internally with departments and externally with customers
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia in both verbal and written communication
