Test Engineer (Interim / Freelance) – Maternity Leave Cover/Zwangerschapsvervanging

Job Summary
Own test planning and execution for ongoing sprints and releases, designing, writing, and maintaining automated and manual test cases across the platform. Work closely with developers to catch issues early, identify gaps in test coverage, and propose practical improvements to the testing process. Support release readiness checks and track bugs through to resolution. This interim role covers maternity leave from November through March, requiring immediate onboarding into existing test suites and Agile/Scrum workflows. You will collaborate with the Tech Lead, Cloud Engineer, and Product Owner to ensure reliable releases as the company scales.
Required Qualifications
- Solid experience as a Test Engineer or QA Engineer
- Proven experience with both manual and automated testing
- An independent working style and the ability to quickly get up to speed with an existing codebase and test suite
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
- Fluent in English
