Job Summary
Test Engineer III responsible for defining, documenting, and executing test strategies for products and systems; develops test plans, procedures, and equipment; analyzes requirements, prepares cost estimates, coordinates with vendors, and supports product troubleshooting. Requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field and 8+ years of experience, with strong test development skills, familiarity with open source testing tools, and equipment programming experience; role may lead others and involves minimal travel; office-based in Madison, AL.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 8+ years experience in the field or related area
- Good working knowledge of MS Office software
- Test equipment programming experience (DITMCO, Cablescan, Cirris, Pxi, etc.)
- RF experience desired
- Ability to prepare testing proposals, analyses of results, and recommendations for changes
- Knowledge of open source software and various test development software solutions
- Able to document and analyze test cases and provide feedback for product changes
- Ability to lead and direct the work of others (may lead)
- Ability to travel as needed
