Test Engineer II

Job Summary
As a Test Engineer II at TreviPay you will lead testing on a small engineering team for business-critical web applications, define test strategy and best practices, write and manage manual and automated test scripts for UI and API, build a tiered regression suite for UI and API integrated into the CI pipeline, and perform performance and security testing. You’ll collaborate with software engineers, product owners, UX designers, internal stakeholders, and customers, stay current with web application testing practices, and contribute to QA efforts throughout the software development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in QA Testing and/or Test Automation roles
- 2+ years of testing experience with programming languages (Perl, C, JavaScript, Ruby, Java, SQL, PL/SQL)
- Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Testim, Katalon Studio, Playwright, BDD, data-driven frameworks)
- Experience testing SOAP and/or RESTful APIs with Postman, SoapUI
- Experience testing web applications with understanding of web standards and cross-browser compatibility
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools like Jenkins/Gitlab CI; AWS and Docker is a plus
- Experience with Performance testing using JMeter or K6 is a plus
- Understanding of Agile software delivery principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
