Job Summary
Test Engineer II responsible for the test equipment in an assembly area, providing support to manufacturing in test failure analysis and test process improvements including hardware and software enhancements. Responsibilities include monitoring and reporting performance of test equipment, training assembly and technical support staff, implementing changes to equipment to improve efficiency and accommodate product evolution, reviewing test coverage to ensure quality requirements, participating in Business Unit team activities, and developing procedures for calibration checks, adjustments, and preventive maintenance on various test equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree (in an engineering field)
- 4+ years working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with control systems or functional test systems
- Electrical circuits and system knowledge
- Good facilitation and communication skills
- The ability to work in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills
