Job Summary
Test Engineer at Cordant Solutions in the UAE with on-site responsibilities for FAT/pre-FAT testing of gas and steam turbine-related equipment. Responsibilities include reviewing FAT procedures, creating customer FAT test plans, identifying testing tools, staging Bently Nevada systems, performing cabinet inspections, simulating signals, inspecting spare materials, supporting customers during FAT, documenting FAT results, maintaining punch logs, controlling IFC drawings per QMS, and driving continuous improvement within manufacturing engineering. Requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), 1-2 years in instrumentation/electrical/mechanical engineering, strong communication, and on-site availability in the UAE.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED)
- 1-2 years of experience in instrumentation, electrical or mechanical engineering
- strong oral and written communication skills
- flexible to work 5 days / week on site
- ability to work in the UAE without company sponsorship or legal restriction
