Job Summary
Design and execute test plans for manufacturing processes and products while developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks. Analyze test data, identify trends, and report defects to development teams, then collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and strategies. Perform root cause analysis of failures and recommend corrective actions, configure and troubleshoot test equipment and fixtures, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies and tools. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering and 3+ years of experience in test engineering within a manufacturing environment, with proficiency in Python, C#, or LabVIEW.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- 3+ years of experience in test engineering within a manufacturing or production environment
- Proficiency in developing and implementing automated test systems using languages like Python, C#, or LabVIEW
- Demonstrated ability to design test plans, create test cases, and analyze test data for complex electro-mechanical systems
- Experience with various test equipment and instrumentation (e.g., oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, DMMs, data acquisition systems)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with PLC programming or industrial automation
- Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and design of experiments (DOE)
- Knowledge of CMM programming or other automated inspection techniques
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
