Test Engineer (all genders)

Job Summary
Design and implement testing methods for product development and manufacturing; lead transitions of test fixtures to suppliers; own supplier test readiness and sign-off activities; coordinate duplication/rebuild of test fixtures; provide on-site and remote support for test-related issues; verify functionality and compliance of test fixtures; maintain test documentation and BOMs; drive yield, quality, and process improvements through test data analysis and root cause investigations; support new product introductions by assessing test impact at supplier sites; define supplier test best practices; escalate unresolved issues to leads; perform system- and component-level electrical testing and troubleshooting; utilize basic testing equipment (multimeter, power supply, RS connections); define and document test and diagnostic programs; collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, suppliers, account teams, and SET; work with stakeholders to influence decisions; travel as needed; strong English communication; capability to work in a hybrid model with on-site and remote work in Austria.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience in test engineering, manufacturing engineering, or supplier support roles
- Experience with test stands and programming (Python and LabVIEW, preferred)
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience with installation, maintenance, testing, or troubleshooting of equipment or electronic systems
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
- Willingness to work overtime
- English communication skills
- Semiconductor industry experience is an advantage
