Job Summary
Test Engineer 2 for HPC systems on a SAFe Agile team. Independently test and validate HPC systems, design and implement testing strategies including automated test execution and data analysis, participate in SAFe ceremonies, develop test plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Proficient with Linux CLI and scripting (Python, Bash) to troubleshoot hardware and automate tests. Develop complex database queries (SQL, Splunk) and analyze test data across database platforms; track and report defects using JIRA; contribute to REST API testing related to hardware systems. Review HPC system documentation and requirements to guide testability, and generate test reports at the conclusion of formal test events. Strong communication skills to convey findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders; comfortable working with cross-functional teams and learning new tools and technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or other STEM field
- 5+ years of test engineering experience
- Extensive experience with Linux CLI
- Scripting language proficiency (Python, Bash, Perl)
- Experience with SQL and data analysis
- Experience with REST APIs
- Experience in Scrum/Agile
- Defect tracking experience (JIRA)
- Git and CI/CD tooling knowledge
- Ability to analyze logs and data visualization tools (Splunk, Kibana, Grafana)
