Test Development Technician

Job Summary
Test Development Technician at Jabil supports the development of test solutions and assists Engineers in building, debugging, and repairing PCBs, fixtures, and test racks, including hardware and software for low to medium complexity. Responsibilities include contributing to ICT, MDA, boundary scan/JTAG, and board-level functional tests; participating in design-for-test, validation, deployment, and emergency support; procuring shop supplies, maintaining inventory, assembling and repairing circuit boards and fixtures, and using tools such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, and various software packages (OrCad/AutoCad, LabWindows/CVI, LabView, TestStand, C#/ANSI C/Visual C++, HTML, PERL, ASP). Requires an Associates degree in a related engineering discipline and at least 3 years of test development experience; familiarity with related hardware and software, and adherence to safety/security policies.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Diploma required in an engineering discipline from a college or university related to a technology field
- Minimum 3 years experience in a test development environment
- Operate and maintain FDM 3D printers (training included)
- Troubleshoot 3D printing issues and maintain printer readiness
- Be aware of fraud and follow security policies
- Ability to understand software flow and modify scripts
- Knowledge of LabWindows/CVI, LabView, TestStand, C#, ANSI C, Visual C++
- Familiar with GPIB, USB, RS-232, PXI, LXI hardware
