Job Summary
Drive and monitor autonomous vehicles during testing, stay alert and ready to take control if needed, follow traffic laws and safety rules at all times, perform daily vehicle safety checks, collect and report driving data and feedback, communicate with riders, engineers, and operations teams, and handle unexpected road or pedestrian situations calmly and safely.
Required Qualifications
- Valid U.S. driver’s license (held for 3+ years)
- Clean driving record (no DUIs or drug/alcohol offenses in the last 5 years)
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to react quickly in challenging driving situations
- Good communication skills
- Autonomous vehicle or EV driving (preferred)
- Driving instructor, motorsports, or safety-focused driving roles (preferred)
- Knowledge of vehicle technology or control systems (preferred)
- Defensive or safe driving certifications (preferred)
