Job Summary
Lead automation QA initiatives for AI-driven quality engineering at Ecolab's scale, defining and executing the overall automation strategy and building scalable frameworks for web, API, and integrated systems using Playwright, Selenium, Python, Java, and TypeScript. Drive AI-enabled testing transformations, establish standards and reusable libraries, work with DevOps/Release teams to integrate quality early in the SDLC, and mentor QA engineers to improve coverage, reduce defects, and accelerate release confidence. Collaborate with Product, Developers, Architects, and business SMEs; define quality KPIs, dashboards, and governance while delivering measurable improvements in automation coverage, regression speed, and defect leakage.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in leading test automation teams or QA delivery
- Strong hands-on experience in test automation framework development
- Playwright automation using TypeScript/Python
- Experience with Playwright MCP-enabled engineering workflows or context-aware AI development tools
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts in testing and software delivery
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to guide technical and functional QA teams
