Job Summary
Test Automation Engineer responsible for developing and executing automated and manual test scripts, detailing test specifications and standards, and maintaining the Requirements Traceability Matrix in HP ALM. Will design back-end queries for data-set preparation for automation and manual testing, document and report results in HP ALM, and contribute to test coverage analysis. Candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and substantial hands-on experience with software quality assurance methodologies, HP ALM/Quality Center, Unified Functional Tester (UFT), VB scripting, and data-driven testing, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work overtime or weekends as needed. Preferred experience includes exposure to hybrid testing frameworks, keyword-driven action files, back-end database queries, and financial management concepts.
Required Qualifications
- A baccalaureate degree in computer science, engineering or a related field from an accredited college
- four years of satisfactory full-time experience related to IT automation engineering, monitoring engineering, management of infrastructure
- Eight years of satisfactory full-time experience related to IT automation engineering, monitoring engineering, management of infrastructure
- Education and/or experience equivalent to the above
