Job Summary
Test Automation Eng Assoc Manager responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive test strategies for RESTful APIs and backend systems. Role involves translating product and system requirements into detailed test plans and test cases, executing functional, integration, regression, and accessibility testing, monitoring results, reporting defects, and driving automation within CI/CD pipelines. Requires 7-11 years of automation leadership experience across web/mobile/backend, proficiency with Selenium/Cucumber, building automation frameworks from scratch, API/Data/Performance testing, and Agile project experience. Collaborative, SME in testing, and able to influence testing approaches across development, product, and DevOps teams. Emphasis on automation best practices and contributing to CI/CD, with optional experience in AI for Testing.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading automation testing for web, mobile and/or backend (7-11 years)
- Proficiency with Selenium, Cucumber, or similar tooling
- Experience implementing or starting an automation framework from scratch
- API Testing, Data Testing and/or performance testing
- Knowledge of CI/CD with Jenkins or similar; Experience with GitHub
- Experience in Agile environments
- Ability to translate requirements into detailed test plans and cases
- Ability to design and implement comprehensive test strategies for RESTful APIs and backend systems
- Strong collaboration with DevOps and product teams
- Ability to drive automation best practices and contribute to CI/CD pipelines
- Experience leveraging AI for Testing (nice to have)
