Job Summary
Test Automation DevOps Engineer responsible for architecting and leading automated testing strategies within CI/CD pipelines. Duties include designing scalable automation frameworks, integrating automated testing into DevOps workflows with tools like Gitlab and Jenkins, and developing robust automated test cases across web, mobile (Android/iOS), and API services. Requires hands-on experience with automation tools (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium), TDD/Agile-Scrum practices, and cross-platform testing across browsers and devices. Collaboration with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to improve quality and coverage, plus troubleshooting live applications and services in AWS/cloud environments. Located at Menara Maxis, Malaysia; standard on-site engagement in a Malaysia-based role, with a focus on automation and continuous delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 4 to 6 years experience in software development or automation engineering
- Experience with automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or Appium) and CI/CD tools
- Proficiency in JavaScript and/or Python in Agile/DevOps environments
- Experience with cloud services (AWS) and version control systems (Git, SVN)
