Job Summary
Develop test plans and methodologies, execute manual and automated tests, and document results for IT test activities. Analyze complex issues, assess test environments, and ensure accurate evaluation of software releases. Create or convert manual tests into automated scripts, manage testing across multiple releases, and resolve schedule conflicts. Independently prepare criteria, computations, specifications, and technical reports while reviewing the quality and adequacy of test results. Perform hands-on documentation and execution of test scripts to support AFLNWC-NCC and major IT Test and Evaluation efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Top Secret with SCI eligibility
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field
- Experience supporting IT test and evaluation activities, including developing test concepts, methodologies, and detailed test plans
- Demonstrated ability to execute tests, analyze data, and produce thorough technical reports and documentation
- Proficiency in applying engineering techniques to evaluate complex problems and assess test environments
- Experience creating or converting manual tests into automated test scripts and supporting automated test orchestration
- Ability to review and assess the quality and adequacy of test results and conclusions
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions and work independently on complex tasks
- Ability to manage testing across multiple releases and resolve schedule conflicts
- Hands-on experience documenting and executing test scripts
