Job Summary
Test and Balance Technician performing preventative maintenance, testing, correcting, and balancing HVAC systems in large local commercial spaces; inspect and repair/replace equipment; troubleshoot air handling, exhaust, ductwork, and fluid flow components; handle emergency maintenance, review data for reporting, and adhere to safety policies; requires attention to detail, effective communication, teamwork, and willingness to join a local union; physical stamina and ability to work extended hours; must pass pre-employment drug screen.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Test and Balance experience
- Ability to understand HVAC systems and HVAC control systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word and Visio
- Interest and ability to join local union
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring future sponsorship for employment visa status
- Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
