Test and Automation Engineer

Job Summary
Lead design and implementation of test and diagnostic programs for production systems; calibrate testers and support troubleshooting to minimize production losses; drive the automation enhancement of production lines, participate in NPI and TPM activities, and prepare specifications for new equipment. Requires a background in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and willingness to travel internationally. Knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens/Omron/Beckhoff) and LabVIEW is valued, along with project management, Six Sigma, and German language skills. The role involves collaboration with suppliers, documentation for commissioning/validation, and ongoing support for manufacturing improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in an Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering role within a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrable experience of logical problem-solving within a manufacturing setting
- Strong attention to detail with high levels of accuracy, and the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Intermediate level English proficiency
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally
