Job Summary
Test Analyst role focused on ensuring quality and accuracy of pension administration systems through structured testing across functional, system, and integration layers. Responsibilities include designing, executing, and validating test cases; validating pension calculations and data processing; defect logging and retesting; supporting regression testing; ensuring traceability from requirements to test cases; collaborating with developers, BAs, SMEs, and pensions operations to cover real-world scenarios; engaging in Agile ceremonies; and contributing to test data management and environment testing to support interfaces and APIs. The role emphasizes adherence to Capita testing standards and governance, with ongoing opportunities for process improvement and automation. Required Qualifications
- Essential Experience in software testing (manual and/or automated)
- Experience with test management tools (e.g. Azure DevOps or similar)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good stakeholder communication skills
- Desirable Experience within pensions administration systems (calculations, payroll, interfaces)
- Knowledge of pension schemes (DB/DC, contributions, benefit calculations)
- Exposure to API and integration testing
- Automation experience (e.g. Tosca, Selenium, or similar)
- Ability to work in Agile environments
