Job Summary
Contract-to-hire Maintenance Technician for Tesoro Property Management at one of seven Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN properties. Responsibilities include completing work orders and basic building repairs across HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, windows; preventative maintenance, grounds maintenance, housekeeping, and unit turnover; participate in on-call emergency maintenance; coordinate with property manager and regional maintenance supervisor on schedule, purchases, and status; ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws; requires 2 years of residential maintenance (multi-family) experience, valid driver’s license, and ability to pass a 7-year background check. Schedule is M-F 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; role is contract-to-hire after 90 days; no on-call period mentioned beyond scheduled on-call duties.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years’ experience in residential maintenance - multi-family experience is REQUIRED.
- Experience in unit turns.
- Valid driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Be able to pass a background check for 7 years before employment successfully.
