Job Summary
Outside Sales Representative in San Luis Obispo, supporting Spectrum's residential customers by visiting leads, conducting needs analyses, and delivering compelling proposals to drive growth in high-speed data, mobile, landline, and video services. Responsibilities include acquiring new customers, completing accurate sales documentation and reporting, participating in meetings and training, and meeting monthly targets while traveling extensively in the local territory. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, ability to travel to assigned territories, a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle, strong English communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work evenings/weekends as needed. The role emphasizes face-to-face community engagement, product education, and consultative selling to expand Spectrum’s customer base and ensure satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- Ability to travel (including during inclement weather) to and from assigned territories and company facilities
- A valid driver’s license, car insurance, a satisfactory driving record, and the use of a reliable personal vehicle
- English literacy (read, write, speak and understand)
- Ability to work evenings and weekends, and as business needs dictate
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
