Job Summary

Outside Sales Representative responsible for acquiring residential customers by visiting assigned leads, conducting needs analyses, presenting sales proposals, and completing required sales documentation. Travel to territories and build relationships face-to-face, with a focus on high-speed data, mobile, landline, and video services. Requires evenings/weekends availability, strong interpersonal skills, ability to travel, valid driver’s license, and independent work. Exposed to outdoor conditions with minimal office presence; strive to meet monthly sales targets and participate in training sessions to support team goals. Spectrum offers competitive base pay plus incentives and potential total compensation over $100,000 annually, plus employee benefits and Spectrum services.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to travel to and from assigned territories and company facilities
  • A valid driver’s license, car insurance, a satisfactory driving record, and the use of a reliable personal vehicle
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends, and as business needs dictate
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Engaging interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with computer operating systems and software applications (PDAs, smartphones, routers, modems, set-top converters, etc.)
