Job Summary
Territory Sales role with Spectrum involves acquiring new residential customers by visiting leads, conducting needs analyses, presenting tailored proposals, and facilitating order-entry and reporting. The Outside Sales Representative will Travel across assigned territories to promote Spectrum’s high-speed data, mobile, landline, and video services, aiming to meet monthly sales targets, monitor competitors, participate in training, and contribute to customer satisfaction. The position requires 90% outdoor work, flexibility to work evenings/weekends, and a valid driver’s license with reliable personal vehicle. Benefits include a competitive base salary with incentives, and a total compensation potential over $100,000 annually, plus Spectrum services. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Engaging interpersonal skills
- Ability to listen, formulate needs based sales strategies, and articulate pitches to sell products and services
- A passion to succeed and strong personal drive to sell to prospective customers
- Ability to travel (including during inclement weather) to and from assigned territories and company facilities
- Familiarity with computer operating systems and software applications
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends, and as business needs dictate
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- A valid driver’s license, car insurance, a satisfactory driving record, and the use of a reliable personal vehicle
- Experience: 2+ years sales or relevant work experience
- Knowledge of cable or telecommunications services, with an emphasis on data networking fundamentals
- Physical Requirements: Travel door to door for extensive periods through local communities
- Able to lift and transport 10-20 pounds
