Job Summary
Territory Sales Representative in San Diego, CA (remote-friendly, full-time) responsible for hunting and managing business within the Riverside County territory from Temecula to San Bernardino. Combines new business development with relationship management using a consultative approach to deliver tailored foodservice equipment and supplies solutions. Uncapped, commission-driven role as a trusted advisor to customers, driving strategic insight and industry expertise to help operators improve performance. Key duties include building and nurturing customer relationships, securing new accounts, managing orders, coordinating with vendors and internal teams, and maintaining product knowledge through vendor trainings and industry involvement. Qualifications include a Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or Culinary Degree) or equivalent experience, CFSP within 3 years, and B2B sales experience in foodservice/distribution. Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and order-entry systems (AS400, AutoQuotes or similar).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or Culinary Degree, or equivalent military or practical experience
- CFSP Test within the first 3 years of employment
- Business-to-business sales experience
- Experience in foodservice/hospitality management and/or foodservice sales preferred
- Experience in a distribution environment
- Understanding of integrated systems is a plus
- Valid driver license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance
