Job Summary
Territory Sales Representative responsible for building and growing merchant relationships and expanding market presence in the Houston area. Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, conduct in-person visits to 8-10 stores daily, and secure 10+ new merchant partners each month while meeting or exceeding sales targets. Utilize AFF’s CRM tools to track interactions, leads, and sales strategies. Must have 1+ year of proven success in B2B outside sales; strong negotiation and closing skills; highly motivated with a self-starter mindset; able to collaborate with Marketing, Training, and Sales Operations. Requires a valid driver’s license and car insurance for regular territory travel. Bilingual applicants are encouraged. The role is described with compensation on-target earnings (OTE) between $65,000 and $110,000 annually, including base salary and commission.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of proven success in B2B outside sales
- Highly motivated and performance-driven
- Strong organizational skills with integrity and professionalism
- Strong face-to-face selling experience with negotiation and closing skills
- Self-starter mindset with ability to independently build and manage a sales pipeline
- Ability to collaborate with Marketing, Training, and Sales Operations
- Valid driver’s license and car insurance for regular travel within the territory
- Extensive experience in retail consumer finance, merchant services, or SaaS preferred
