Job Summary
Territory Sales Representative to grow the Residential and Light Commercial (RLC) customer base in the designated market. Build long-term relationships with customers, accounts, and manufacturers; educate and promote BCS product lines; drive outside sales calls; expand market through collaboration with the sales team; coordinate quotations and proposals; participate in trade shows and product launches; work with Parts Team on strategic sales objectives; travel up to 50% annually; develop and execute sales strategies to achieve market share and growth goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or another technical field of study, or equivalent work experience preferred
- Minimum 5 years of technical outside sales experience
- Knowledge of HVAC equipment, preferred
- Knowledge of the electrical business (industrial/automation) and/or its distribution channels
- Experience working with independent sales rep organizations, preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Strong math skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Valid driver license for daily responsibilities of calling on customers
Desired Qualifications
