Job Summary
Territory Sales Manager will drive revenue across a defined Western Florida territory by nurturing relationships with Healthcare Practitioners, visiting HCP offices in person within the territory, and achieving budgeted sales goals. Responsibilities include leveraging CRM/Salesforce for pre/post-call planning, developing and promoting whole-food nutritional supplements in the HCP market, analyzing market data to identify opportunities, collaborating with inside sales to generate leads and appointments, conducting educational programs (in-person and virtual lunch-and-learns), building and maintaining professional relationships with opinion leaders, traveling to regional shows, and meeting forecasted sales objectives. Requires residing in or near the assigned territory and traveling daily (50-80%), with participation in training and headquarter meetings as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline
- Valid driver’s license
- 3-5 years of outside sales experience
- Experience in sales, preferably in the practitioner channel, representing natural or complementary/alternative products
- Good understanding of nutrition basics
- Experience analyzing sales and demographic data
- Demonstrated success in product sales and territory development
- Experience reporting and presenting on sales data and activities
- Experience with a CRM, preferably Salesforce.com
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to travel 50% - 80%
- Ability to manage multiple projects or tasks simultaneously
