Job Summary
Territory Sales Manager for the Upper Midwest (ND, SD, MN) responsible for owning a defined geography, leading adoption of next-generation ag technology, managing the full sales cycle (prospecting, demos, field trials, closing), building dealer relationships, and achieving dealer-driven sales targets. Role requires CRM-driven pipeline management (HubSpot), on-farm demonstrations, cross-functional collaboration with marketing/ops/product, and travel 50–75% within the territory to grow large-scale row crop and commercial producer accounts. The candidate should have 3–7 years in ag equipment or B2B field sales, strong regional grower/dealer networks, and a deep understanding of row crop production and farm operations.
Required Qualifications
- 3–7 years of experience in ag equipment, precision ag, or B2B field sales
- Residency and local ties to North Dakota, South Dakota, or Minnesota
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of row crop production, agronomy, self-propelled sprayers, or farm operations
- Ability to operate as a trusted advisor, not just a transactional seller
- Highly self-motivated with a bias for action and ownership mentality
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with growers and channel partners
- Willingness to travel 50–75% within territory
