Job Summary
Outside sales Territory Sales Manager responsible for driving revenue across OEM and Aftermarket distribution channels in the commercial, industrial, and automotive battery and accessories market. This is an over-the-road role requiring frequent travel within Sudbury and surrounding areas in Northern Ontario to meet with customers, prospects, distributors, and industry partners. Responsibilities include leading hunter and farmer motions: identifying net-new customers across OEM and Aftermarket, guiding prospects through qualification to a concrete sales decision, conducting application-based solution design consultations with engineering/procurement, growing an existing book of business through account development and opportunity identification, and delivering high-value in-person Strategic Consultations with key decision-makers. Requires strong relationship-building, executive-level presentation skills, and the ability to articulate battery solutions (SLI, AGM, Dry Cell, Powersport) across customer needs. Proficiency with CRM platforms and willingness to travel for face-to-face engagements are essential. Compensation includes a base salary in the $50k–$100k range plus bonus structure and benefits. 100% Canadian-owned company.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of field sales experience in technical sales within battery, automotive, or industrial machinery sectors
- Experience navigating OEM procurement cycles and Aftermarket distribution networks
- Experience using enterprise-grade CRM platforms
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills for in-person proposals to executive and technical decision-makers
- Strong understanding of battery product categories including SLI, AGM, Dry Cell, and Powersport applications
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory for face-to-face client engagement
