Job Summary
Territory Sales Manager in Salt Lake City-North drives sales growth for Cameron Ashley Building Products across a defined geographic area. Responsibilities include proactively engaging new and existing customers, developing growth strategies, leveraging product knowledge and market awareness, delivering quotes and bids, handling price objections, delivering professional sales presentations, recording and forecasting account information, and collaborating with internal teams to penetrate and expand key accounts. Required skills include active listening, persuasive communication, negotiation, strategic thinking, and effective relationship management. Travel 50-75% with valid driver’s license; outside sales experience and building-products knowledge are highly valued. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Outside sales experience is a must
- Building products experience is preferred
- Ability to understand selling on value vs price
- Demonstrated ability to work within the sales cycle
- Territory travel (50 - 75%); with limited overnight travel
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
