Job Summary
Territory Sales Manager for Oregon responsible for exceeding new business production, direct written premium, and loss ratio goals by managing independent agents, promoting a full suite of National General insurance products (auto, homeowners, commercial vehicle, flood, RV, specialty Vehicle, Household package), and coordinating with regional leadership. Responsibilities include field-facing activity 4 days per week, collaborating with independent agencies to develop short and long-term strategic plans, leveraging production data and CRM to identify trends and address performance, coordinating with Product/Pricing/Operations on market issues, developing agency appointment pipelines, and supporting national accounts and alternative distribution initiatives. Preferred 4-year degree and 5+ years of experience; base compensation $95,000-$105,000 with performance bonuses; candidates must reside in Oregon and be authorized to work in the United States. Knowledge areas include consultative selling, insurance products, relationship building, strategic collaboration, and agency engagement.
