Job Summary
Territory Sales Manager sought to cover the Northwest region (including WA, OR, ID, MT, WY). Responsibilities include visiting current and potential customers to promote and sell BD Diesel’s product catalog, developing sales strategies with the manager, forecasting targets, optimizing sales processes, delivering product introductions and demonstrations, and providing customer feedback to teams. Requires travel to customer locations regularly, annual HQ product training, and ongoing relationship management with key accounts to achieve regional sales goals. Offers compensation with salary range $65,000–$85,000, PTO, 401k match, health benefits, quarterly bonus, mileage reimbursement, vehicle allowance, and extensive benefits. A background in automotive or diesel product sales and strong market analysis skills are expected.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in territory or regional sales
- Ability to travel to customer locations three out of four weeks per month
- Customer relationship management skills with key accounts
- Proven ability to forecast sales targets and develop strategies
- Understanding of sales process optimization and efficiency improvements
- Willingness to participate in product training sessions at headquarters
- Ability to analyze sales performance data and take corrective actions
- Market analysis and competitive intelligence gathering
- Ability to perform product demonstrations and introductions to customers
- Strong communication and collaboration with sales manager and engineering teams
