Job Summary
Territory Sales Manager in Los Angeles responsible for promoting PolyNovo NovoSorb technologies in the advanced wound and burn space to maximize revenue and grow market share within the assigned geographic territory. Key duties include achieving sales quota, developing new business and maintaining relationships with customers, managing surgical case coverage with surgeons and staff, understanding local contracts to maximize account penetration, selling clinical and economic value of PolyNovo/Novosorb technologies, maintaining CRM with orders and activity, managing budgets, coordinating hospital in-services, participating in regional/national trade shows, organizing local journal clubs/grand rounds, and providing market feedback to Quality/Regulatory/R&D. The role also involves ensuring documentation quality and regulatory compliance, and traveling as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business and/or BMedSci/BSc (Life Sciences)
- 3 years of experience in a medical device sales role (Operating Room sales highly preferred)
- Scientific understanding of biotechnology
- Ability to provide technical and sales training and support to new employees
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a small team
- Experience selling into complex acute wound market highly preferred
