Job Summary
Territory Sales Manager responsible for the South Central Territory (TX, OK, LA, AR, NM). Develop and manage upfitter relationships to drive mutual growth, execute targeted account plans across upfitters and end-user accounts, lead product trials and demonstrations to support conversions, coordinate upfitter training, collaborate with marketing on campaigns and local execution of national initiatives, and represent the brand at industry trade shows and customer-facing events. Maintain a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, opportunity management, and CRM documentation, with an emphasis on high-impact accounts via an 80/20 approach. Extensive travel within the territory is required. The role focuses on expanding adoption of Miller Work Truck Solutions, building advocacy with partners, and providing market feedback to inform product development and strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ related sales experience
- Technical Certificate, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in Technical or Business Discipline required
- Proven track record of developing positive customer relationships
- Challenger mindset, able to educate the end-user to think differently about their business
- Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and a team player in an independent, self-directed environment
- Willingness to travel extensively within the territory
- Strong value selling skills with ability to convert new business
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
