Job Summary
Manage the Dallas-Arkansas-N. Louisiana territory by selling and demonstrating Smart Storage products to meet quotas, profits, and targets. Grow the business through relationship development, cold calling, and customer meetings while analyzing competitor activities and attending industry events. Act as a liaison between customers, service, and manufacturing, conducting product training for distributors and end users. Coordinate with regional and national managers to execute sales plans and maintain existing accounts via direct and distribution models. Travel daily to drive sales within the region, adhering to a 50% travel requirement and managing the T&E budget.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in industrial products or related complex commercial product sales
- Ability to travel every day in territory to attend sales meetings and/or shows as required
- Required to work and travel on weekends and outside core business hours as needed for Business Events: Trade Shows, Customer Meetings, etc.
- Willingness to travel (50%)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred (Business, Sales, Management preferred or equivalent fields)
- Experience with direct sales as well as through dealer/distributors preferred
- Ability to develop and present programs to both customers and sales organization
- Knowledgeable with use of computers, MS Office products and CAD software
- Experience with Salesforce.com
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Self-motivated with high energy
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to plan and execute responsibilities working independently
- Excellent driving record
