Job Summary
Identify, prospect, and sell new customers to achieve sales goals while directly managing all aspects of your assigned sales territory. Utilize the company's sales automation tool to streamline territory management and establish collaborative relationships with corporate office staff and the field sales organization. This energetic, self-disciplined role requires a hunter mentality with five years of outside sales experience in B2B, preferably within the foodservice or hospitality industry. Manage the territory from a home-office base with local travel, demonstrating strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills alongside proficiency in MS Office.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with business development, market development, or outside sales
- Hunter mentality sales role experience
- Demonstrate the ability to be an energetic self-starter with a desire to succeed
- Demonstrate the ability to be a self-disciplined individual who can manage a territory from a home-office base
- Demonstrate the ability to be successful in prospecting new customers
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possess an outgoing, friendly personality
- Proficiency in MS Office - Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Experience in business-to-business sales
- Experience preferably in the foodservice or hospitality industry
- Proven record of exceeding sales targets
- Strong work ethic

- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
